CAPE MAY CHRISTADELPHIANS
The name Christadelphian comes from two Greek words meaning "Brothers and Sisters in Christ". We are found throughout the world and assemble as churches (or ecclesias, Greek word for “assembly”). We are found in more than 120 countries with differing languages and cultures.
We believe God is the source of all life. He knows us, he loves us, and he has an exciting plan for mankind and for the earth! We therefore seek to know God and to be followers of his son, Jesus. Praising God in song, prayer, and service help bring us closer to Him. Not only can we be drawn closer to God but also to our Lord Jesus Christ and to each other by feeling and sharing the unfailing love and faithfulness our Father and our Lord Jesus have for us.
We strive to honor God in all that we do and follow the example of Jesus. We value fellowship, personal and group Bible reading and study, and serving each other and those around us. We meet together regularly to help encourage one another as we wait for Jesus’ return. We preach God’s message of hope and salvation to all who have an ear to hear.
This website is established to begin a ministry of teaching and sharing in Cape May the basic core teachings of the Bible as understood and interpreted by the Christadelphians. The effort in Cape May is a missionary effort that is part of a worldwide community of churches found in more than 120 countries, formally established in the middle 1800’s in North America.
Since their founding they have been a group that has labored to present the doctrines and teachings of the early first century church, before any councils and creeds robbed it of the truth that it was. This website aims to continue that work.
